You are not paid to be sleepy
A jet-lagged traveler runs at roughly 61% of normal productivity, by one widely-cited industry estimate. On a New York to Hong Kong round trip, that is three to five productive days each way at a fraction of your real rate. At a loaded daily cost of even US$1,500, one round trip can quietly waste US$5,000 to US$10,000 in performance. Most companies pay it without flinching. Most travelers absorb it as part of the job.
Circa runs the whole plan for the whole trip, not just the first night.
How Circa fits a business trip
Before you fly. Enter the flight number. Tell Circa when your first meeting is, when your office hours run, and whether you exercise. The plan adjusts the days before departure, the in-flight phase, and the first three days on the ground. Sleep, light, caffeine, melatonin, exercise, hydration, and meal timing all lined up.
In the air. Circa shows you when to sleep on the plane and when to stay awake. The cabin brief is a 60-second handoff you can show the cabin crew: when to dim, when to wake you, when to skip a meal service. No more guessing.
On the ground. Day one is when most travelers lose their work. Circa protects the meeting hours you have to perform in. The readiness curve makes the trade-offs visible. You see exactly when you should sleep, when you should walk outside, when you should stop drinking coffee.
What it is not
Circa is not a sleep tracker. It is not a fitness app. It is not a wellness app in the headspace sense. It is a circadian protocol that runs the trip. Every recommendation has a reason and a citation, and the engine is unit-tested on hundreds of routes and traveler profiles.
It is also not a stimulant. We do not recommend anything that the science does not support. The plan is conservative on supplement claims and explicit about what is settled science, what is supportive, and what is comfort-tier.
Pricing
First plan free, always. HK$149 a year for unlimited trips. HK$38 per trip if you fly only once or twice a year. No subscription guilt. No lifetime tier.
Frequently asked
Do I expense this to my company? Your call. Most travelers self-pay; the price is intentionally below most reimbursement-thresholds anyway. We are working on an enterprise tier for firms that want to provide it as a duty-of-care benefit. Reach out via contact if that interests you.
I already use Timeshifter. Many of our early users do. Circa is broader: exercise, meals, hydration, supplements, transit, illness-prevention. Light and melatonin are necessary but not sufficient.
Does it work for round trips? Yes. The engine treats the return as part of the same trip and adjusts accordingly. The phase state carries.
